An expected victory and an equal record for the final of “Dancing with the stars”

After more than ten weeks of competition, it was finally the duo formed by Billy Crawford – the international star of this edition – and Fauve Hautot who won the 12ᵉ season of “Dancing with the Stars”. A rather expected victory, as the Filipino-American dancer has offered us performances close to perfection in recent weeks. “It’s a dream for me,” said the singer after receiving his trophy.

At the end of the last bonus, broadcast live on TF1 this Friday, Billy Crawford and his partner Fauve Hautot collected 53.5% of the public’s votes, thus beating the young Carla Lazzari who danced with Pierre Mauduy. Stéphane Legar, the third finalist, was eliminated by the jury after the first dance. Billy Crawford is therefore the big winner of this 12ᵉ season of “Dancing with the Stars”. For his part, Fauve Hautot signs his 4ᵉ victory in the famous dance competition, thus equaling the record held so far by Denitsa Ikonomova, a major absentee this season.

Billy Crawford’s victory is not really surprising, because the star’s level of dancing was already extremely high before the competition. For some Internet users, the artist was therefore favored from the start of the program by his experience. But the conclusion is clear: throughout the season, Billy and Fauve flew over the rankings, impressing the jury a little more each week. In short, the Filipino-American dancer did not steal his victory.

After this consecration, Fauve Hautot wanted to pay tribute to his partner on Instagram. “What an evening, adventure, encounter. Dear Billy, what beautiful memories… BRAVO & THANK YOU, for everything, my friend. You know… THANK YOU. It was, once again, an incredible experience. Long live the dance, the rigor. With great love,” she said on her Instagram account.
