Regarding the problems of the farmers, under the leadership of the BJP Kisan Morcha, the BJP workers, raising slogans against the state government, handed over a six-point demand letter to the Governor to the administration. The workers of Shivnandanpur division expressed their displeasure against the Baghel government by submitting a memorandum to the Latori Tehsildar and Bishrampur Mandal workers.
Shivnandanpur Mandal President of BJP Kisan Morcha Balram Sheel took a jibe at the Congress government of the state and said that farmers across the state are troubled due to the Baghel government’s anti-farmer policy and huge corruption in paddy procurement. The Congress government has cheated the common people as well as the farmers. During the procurement of paddy, the farmers had to face the formidable problem of gunny bags. On the other hand, farmers as well as common people had to face financial burden due to unannounced power cuts and increase in electricity rates in the surplus electricity state of Chhattisgarh. While protesting, the workers of Shivnandanpur Mandal led by BJP Kisan Morcha submitted a six-point memorandum to the Governor at Tehsil office Latori to Tehsildar Amrita Singh. Those who submitted the memorandum included BJP District Vice President Maheshwar Paikra, Mandal President Devdhan Ram Binjhia, Raju Jaiswal, Sandeep Sarkar, Babul Sen, Amarnath Paikra, Mani Bagga, Bappi Chatterjee, Imtiaz Nepali, Sushil Saha, Pappu Sahu, Golu Bagga Tarak Sardar. On the other hand, BJP workers of Bishrampur Mandal, while protesting, submitted a memorandum to the Governor in the Sub Tehsil office to Naib Tehsildar Madhuri Anchala. Among those who submitted the memorandum included Mandal President Leelu Gupta, Satish Tiwari, Dina Yadav.

On the call of the BJP state leadership, the Kisan Morcha submitted a memorandum to the Tehsildar in the name of the Governor regarding the six-point demand in various divisions of the district. In the memorandum submitted to the Governor, declaring the development blocks with scanty rainfall as drought-hit, giving two years’ outstanding bonus to the farmers according to the manifesto, completely stopping the undeclared power cuts in the state, withdrawing the increased electricity prices, permanent pumps. Demands have been made to give immediate permission to the farmers for connection, regular arrival of fertilizers in the society and curb black marketing, availability of sufficient gunny bags in paddy procurement centers and compulsorily start paddy procurement from November 1. Regarding all these demands in Surajpur city, under the leadership of BJP District President Babulal Agarwal, District Vice President Pushpa Singh, District Minister Sandeep Aggarwal, BJYM State General Secretary Ritesh Gupta, District Media In-charge Shashi Tiwari, Kisan Morcha State Working Committee member Sant Singh, Kisan Morcha District General Secretary Kapil Pandey , City Circle President Ajay Agarwal, Surendra Rajwade Kisan Morcha Mandal President Amarjit Rajwade Shivshankar Sahu, Arvind Mishra, Kunte Rajwade, BJYMO Mandal President Kailash Gupta, Kisan Devangan, Amir Chandra Gupta, Chandrakant Sahu, Anil Gupta, Rajkumar, Surendra Devangan, Laxman Kasera, Rajesh Sahu, Nahar Singh, Fahim Ansari, Mukesh Sahu (Chhotu), Ananjay Devangan, Rajesh Sahu, Deepak Mungeri, Sagar Singh, Pankaj Gupta submitted a memorandum to the Tehsildar.
