After Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19 has a definite future

After the renewal of Grey’s Anatomy, ABC confirmed that Station 19 will also have a new season, according to Deadline.

Krista Vernoff will continue as the producer on Station 19 for its sixth season, as well as the main supervisor on Grey’s Anatomy.

“It is a privilege to tell stories of our heroic first responders, who on our show and in real life put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe,” Krista Vernoff said in an official statement.

“I am so grateful to Disney and ABC for the early confirmation of the sixth season of Station 19!”

“It’s a celebration of the incredible work of our team, as well as the dedication of our loyal fans, who accompany us every week.”

Station 19 is from the same universe as Grey’s Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy is a medical drama series that began in 2005 on ABC in the United States. In Brazil, Netflix helped popularize the series, but the title left the service at the end of 2021.

The fictional series focuses on the lives of interns, residents and surgical assistants as they grow into experienced doctors while balancing personal and professional relationships.

The eighteenth season of Grey’s Anatomy is in the United States. In Brazil, the new episodes arrive on January 25, 2022.

The seasons of Grey’s Anatomy can be seen on Star+, Globoplay, Amazon Prime Video and Sony channel, also through UOL Play. Station 19, the spinoff, is also on Star+.
