Christina Applegate (50) is strong! The American made her big breakthrough in the 80s with the cult series “A Terribly Nice Family” alongside Ed O’Neill (76) – since then the blonde has been an integral part of the film business. But in recent months, the actress has retired. The reason: In the summer of 2021 she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Celebrated for a special occasion Christina but now a little comeback in public!
As the current pictures show, stepped Christina appeared in public for the first time after her diagnosis last Monday to accept her star on the Walk of Fame: “I can’t stand long so I’ll thank the people I really need to thank”, she explained while standing barefoot at the lectern and thanking her family and her agent. “By the way, I have an illness. Haven’t you noticed? I don’t even wear shoes. You have to laugh about that,” finished Christina her speech jokingly.
But her fellow actors like Katey Sagal (68) and David Faustino didn’t let it go either and found touching words for the 50-year-old: “You bend, but you don’t break. Your modesty and boldness allows us all to bend with you”the Pitch Perfect actress pointed out.
