Actor from Cidade Invisível, Marco Pigossi takes up a relationship with an Italian director

Brazilian star Marco Pigossi, who is in Cidade Invisível on Netflix, used Instagram to take up his relationship with Italian director and actor Marco Calvani. In the image posted, the couple walks on a beautiful beach in California.

The photo was first published by Calvani. “Thanks for that,” wrote the Italian, with an emoji to his heart.

Later, Marco Pigossi shared the same image in Stories. “Shocking a total of zero people”, wrote the Brazilian after wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving.

So far, it is not known when the relationship of the Invisible City star began. In November 2020, the Italian director posted an image with Marco Pigossi in the LGBTQIA+ Pride Parade, with the caption that, “O Amor Wins”.

As an actor, Marco Calvani is known as Borgia. In the role of director and writer, the filmmaker is credited with The View from Up Here.

Invisible City returns with second season on Netflix

Produced by Carlos Saldanha, the fantasy and suspense series is based on a story developed by writers and best-selling authors Raphael Draccon and Carolina Munhoz, who also act as consultants on the project.

In the plot of Cidade Invisível, Marco Pigossi, Zeca from A Força do Querer, plays the protagonist Eric, an environmental policeman who tries to deal with the tragic death of his wife in a mysterious fire.

The fatal accident takes place in the idyllic Vila Toré, located on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. Surrounded by nature, the small village finds itself at the center of the ambitions of an imposing construction company, who wants to build a resort for high society in the area.

By distrusting the construction company’s intentions, the protagonist Eric becomes involved in a mystical plot, full of mysteries and secrets about the best known characters of Brazilian folklore.

The Invisible City narrative has several references to Brazilian folklore, with appearances by iconic characters such as Curupira, Saci and Cuca.

In addition to Marco Pigossi and Alessandra Negrini, the cast of Cidade Invisível also includes Julia Conrad, Victor Sparapane, José Dumont, Samuel de Assis, Wesley Guimarães, Fábio Lago, Tainá Medina, Thaia Perez, Rafael Sieg, Jessica Cores, Jimmy London, Manu Dieguez and Áurea Maranhão.

The show had a large audience on Netflix, making it possible to return to season two.

The eight episodes of the first season of Invisible City are now available on Netflix. The second season has no premiere forecast.
