The spinoff film from the ‘A Quiet Place’ franchise has hired a new director after the departure of Jeff Nichols, director of ‘Bandit love‘ e ‘Midnight Special‘, who dropped out of production.

According to Deadline, Paramount Pictures acted quickly to find his replacement and appears to have found one of the most sought-after rising stars in town.

Michael Sarnoski, director of the highly praised ‘Pig‘ (starring Nicolas cage), is in talks to direct the next untitled installment of the franchise.

Not much else is known about this project other than it is not the third, but rather a spinoff, based on an idea of John Krasinski, who directed and starred in the first two films.

The spin-off film is scheduled to open in theaters on March 31, 2023.

The feature was described as a spin-off that would take place in the same universe as the first two films.
