28 quintals of rice crossed from Tifras school crime registered

Bilaspur. Bilaspur Crime News: Thieves crossed 28 quintals of rice for mid-day meal from Government Pre-Secondary School in Tifra. The secretary of the committee that manages the mid-day meal has complained to Sirgitti police station. On this, the police is investigating the matter by registering a crime. He told that his committee manages the mid-day meal in the Government Pre-Secondary School of Tifra. Rice is lifted for the school every month on behalf of the committee. The members of the committee get the rice kept in a room of the school itself. The account of its income and expenditure is kept by the head readers of the school. The rice for the month of August was kept for distribution in the school by the committee. With this, 118 quintals of rice was to be distributed to the children in the school.

On September 9, the members of the committee went to their homes after locking the stock room. On September 10, there was a holiday in the school on Teej festival. On September 11, the school staff reached the school. During this the lock of the stock room was broken. The cleaning worker of the school gave this information to the members of the women’s committee. On this, the members of the women’s committee also reached the spot. Reconciliation of rice stocks was done in the presence of staff and committee members. In this, 24 quintals of rice was found less. The secretary of the committee, Bhavya, along with the treasurer Usha Sahu, has complained to the Sirgitti police station. On this, the police is investigating the matter by registering a crime.
