While the arrival of Christophe Galtier at PSG seems imminent, Mauricio Pochettino is still officially the coach of the Parisian club. It must be said that the negotiations concerning his departure and that of his staff have not yet been settled.
Less than two weeks before the resumption of training at PSG, the name of the future coach is not yet fully known. If the lights are green for the arrival of Christophe Galtier and an agreement has even been reached with the OGC Nice technician, everything is not settled with the Nice club. The financial question remains unresolved especially since at the same time PSG is still entangled with the case of Mauricio Pochettino. More precisely, with the technical staff of the one who is still for a few hours the main coach of PSG.
The staff will cost PSG 15 million euros
Indeed, if the negotiations for a severance package are on the right track with Pochettino, this is not the case for his assistants. This file remains blocked and hinders the arrival of Christophe Galtier. The three people concerned are the two faithful assistants of the Argentine coach, Jesus Pérez and Miguel d’Agostino, as well as the physical trainer. The latter is none other than Mauricio Pochettino’s own son, Sebastiano.

According to the newspaper The Parisian, PSG should expect to pay around 15 million euros for Mauricio Pochettino and all his staff. A logical price for the one who remains to this day the best paid coach in the history of Ligue 1. This price is in addition to the ten million euros expected by Nice to let go of Christophe Galtier. It is therefore a 25 million euro operation that awaits PSG to finally have its new coach in place very soon.
