Adventure films are always beloved by the public – and, throughout the history of cinema, several titles fell into popular taste and became classics to be watched more than once.

Indian Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

the classic ‘Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark’in Steven Spielberg, served as the beginning of an iconic saga that still bears fruit today. In the plot, the archaeologist Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is hired to find the Ark of the Covenant, which according to biblical scriptures would contain “The Ten Commandments” that God revealed to Moses on Mount Horeb. But as the legend says that the army that possesses it will be invincible, Indiana Jones will have a strong opponent in the search for the lost ark: Adolf Hitler himself.

With direction of Richard Donner and starring Sam Astin (the Sam from ‘Lord of the Rings’), ‘The Goonies’ Follows the titular group as they find a mysterious treasure map and begin to follow the clues, entering a fabulous underground world of secret passages, dangerous traps and an ancient pirate galleon that hides gold coins. The feature became a classic of the “afternoon session” and influenced a range of similar productions that would come out in the following years.

A grandfather reads a fairy tale to his grandson, complete with a beautiful princess, fencing fights and giants. The story of the book is based on the life of Princess Buttercup (Robin Wright), who is in love with a young peasant. After making her believe that he died, she decides to marry a prince, who soon turns out to be evil. On the day of the wedding, a gang kidnaps her and she discovers that among her kidnappers is the peasant. From then on, the two will have to face many things to finally be together.

Before the forgettable bomb starring tom cruise, ‘The Mummy’ won a fun adaptation for the big screen in 1999 – bringing names like Brendan Fraser It is Rachel Weisz in the cast. The plot follows a group of archaeologists who discover a tomb in the lost city of Hamunaptra. Inside the tomb found the body of Imhotep (Arnold Vosloo), an ancient Egyptian priest who was mummified alive – in addition to having received the most terrible of curses for having slept with the pharaoh’s mistress and having killed him. The duo, who anticipate a boring day, are shocked when they start playing Zathura, a space-themed board game, which they realize has mystical powers when their house is shot into space. With the help of an astronaut, the boys try to get back home.
STARDUST – THE MYSTERY OF THE STAR (2007)

‘Stardust – The Mystery of the Star’ continues, to this day, as one of the most beloved productions in the fantastic setting. Based on the eponymous novel by the legendary Neil Gaimanthe narrative brought to the cinemas by Matthew Vaughn delighted viewers around the world by taking us into the magical world of Stormhold. The story centered on Tristan, a troubled young man who crosses paths with a shooting star named Yvaine, won numerous critical acclaim and took home a solid amount of awards – including a Hugo Award and a GLAAD Award.

In ‘Journey to the center of the Earth’based on the novel of the same name by Jules Verne, Professor Trevor Anderson, his nephew Sean, and their guide Hannah are trapped in a cave during an expedition in Iceland. As they follow their escape route further below the Earth’s surface, they pass through strange places and encounter incredible creatures, including dinosaurs. However, as the volcanic activity around them increases, they realize they need to find their way out quickly.

Bringing together three stories from the homonymous comic book saga into a single narrative – ‘The Crab with the Golden Claws’, ‘The Secret of the Unicorn’ It is ‘Rackham’s Treasure’ -, ‘The Adventures of Tintin’ revolves around the titular character, a young reporter who is always on the lookout for a good story. One day, he sees a model of an old galleon for sale on the street and decides to buy it.
