10 Christmas Productions to Watch on Netflix in 2021

Christmas is coming (again) and, as usual, the Netflix is preparing a compilation of productions for its subscribers to check out at the end of the year celebrations.

With two titles already premiered on the platform streaming‘The Claus Family’ e ‘A Match Surprise’ -, we decided to prepare a list with some Christmas movies that will arrive in the service’s catalog in the coming weeks, bringing the synopsis of all of them and the day they will be released.

TO THE NOEL FAMILY

Release: now available!

Belgian production ‘The Claus Family’ arrived on the 1st of November to Netflix. Directed by Matthias Temmermans and script signed by Ruben Vandenborre, the production follows Jules, a young man who hates the holiday season. However, when his grandfather becomes ill, he discovers the family’s magical legacy and realizes that he is the only one who can save Christmas.

In the plot, a girl from Los Angeles meets a suitor from across the country through a dating app and decides to surprise him. What she didn’t expect was for the whole situation to be one big setup by a friend of his.

Release: November 7th

the british comedy ‘The Good Old Man is Back’ arrives in the Netflix catalog in a few days and is centered on four sisters and their respective families, who gather to celebrate Christmas in a beautiful mansion in the heart of Yorkshire. However, when a shocking secret comes to light, chaos runs rampant. The cast has names like April Bowlby, Talulah Riley, Elizabeth Hurley e Kelsey Grammer.

the french series ‘Christmas Arrangement’ is one of the most awaited productions of this year’s end and revolves around a young man rapper which causes controversy with songs of dubious content. All the women say he’s antisocial and misogynistic – and things get even more interesting when he crosses paths with a young journalist, feminist and extremely committed to his cause.

THE PRINCESS AND THE PUBLIC: VILLAINS LOVE TOO

bringing Vanessa Hudgens in the triple starring role, ‘The Princess and the Plebeian: The Villains Love Too’ is the third volume in Netflix’s unexpected Christmas franchise. In the plot, the kingdom of Montenaro was holding an International Christmas festival, until a priceless relic disappears. To try to resolve the situation, Stacy and Margaret ask for help from a person who thinks like a criminal: Fiona!

A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS

Released: November 24th

A boy named Nikolas embarks on an extraordinary adventure in search of his father, who is in search of the legendary Goblin Village. Accompanied by a stubborn reindeer and a pet rat, Nikolas eventually finds his destiny. An exciting story, fun and full of magic, where we discover that nothing is impossible.

THE SABIÁ SABIAZINHA

After its egg rolls into a dump, the Robin Thrush is raised by a family of rats. As time goes by, it becomes more and more evident that she is different from her siblings. A CASTLE FOR CHRISTMAS

In ‘A Castle for Christmas’, Sophie (Brooke Shields), a famous American author, travels to Scotland. Dazzled by the place, she wants to buy a castle belonging to a Scottish duke named Myles (Cary Elwes). When the duke hesitates to sell his property to a foreigner, they try to come to terms with the sale, gradually falling in love with each other.

In ‘A Crush for Christmas’, Peter (Michael Urie) convinces his best friend Nick (Philemon Chambers) to come home for the holidays and get involved in a little fake dating to try to appease his family, who constantly insist that he have a partner. There’s only one problem: Peter’s mother Carole (Kathy Najimy), is planning to put him on a blind date with his spinning instructor, James (Luke MacFarlane), which will spark a big mess.

Determined to fulfill their mother’s only wish, three brothers race to find wives they can bring home until Christmas. Meanwhile, the mother of the trio plans the biggest Christmas celebration ever.
